Nice idea, not well executed Dec 28, 2007
By Soccer Mom We love connect four, we love the idea of handmade, durable, beautiful wooden toys. This seemed perfect, but...not quite. It is too small and hard to play. The little balls are too easy to spill and lose (just when re-starting the game and dumping them out, there is high chance of losing them). Every time you play, you have to tighten these little screws on the side. You can't see well where the balls are through the little windows in the game unless you put it level with your head or lay down on the floor. I saw a great one with larger wooden balls and more like the "real game" size and I would recommend that one instead. For travel, we will likely just use pens and paper. Not what we hoped for.
Not worth it Apr 29, 2010

This game was very small. You could never travel with it because you would lose all the marbles. You almost have to be at eye level to play it and the handles fell off quickly. I would not buy this again.
Way Too small !!!! Oct 09, 2008
By K. Klar Way too small, too small for little hands, too small to see where your pieces are placed, too easy to lose small pieces, doesn't fit well together. Poor, poor, poor!!! Don't buy it.

perfect for everyone Jan 18, 2008
By Kat and Rog Good ol'fashion fun is a perfect size; not too small, not too big. Solid wood construction and pieces give it heirloom potential. Gave it to my college students for stress reduction and simple mind exercises. They love it!
